“Be a scientist in your own body. Sedona told me that years ago now and it's been resonating in my head ever since.
To have a conversation, you have to listen, understand, and respond. Ideally, you want to love with whom you're conversing, but at a minimum, you have to acknowledge and respect them. Yoga teaches you how to have a conversation with your body. You learn how to ask your body to do things, and you learn how to listen to your body when it talks. You learn how to love yourself.
